Volunteer Help!
September 8, 2010The school is a buzz after the quiet of summer. The resource room is almost done and we are gearing up for two big events coming up that are major fundraisers for our Capital Campaign. With these big events comes a need for volunteer support, which can be a great way to fulfill a lot of those newly required volunteer hours.
With our upcoming disc golf tournament & back to school picnic we need help screen-printing the tee shirts (2-4 volunteers). We need 10 volunteers for the day, help with flyer sponsorships, and sponsor solicitors and player solicitors too as well as flyer distributors. We also need someone who is TIPS certified to serve our drinks in our beer garden. Volunteers get a free golf tee shirt.
Our next event is our 3rd annual Forest Highlands Golf Tournament and for this we also need 10 volunteers for the day, we need help getting together great silent auction/raffle items so we are looking for someone to spearhead this, someone to sell dinner tickets for the dinner portion of the event, sponsor solicitors, flyer distributors and player solicitors. Volunteers get a free lunch on us.
