An Overview
Pine Forest School is recognized for its unique curriculum that feeds the child’s whole body, and caring teachers. Pine Forest School offers an art and nature-enriched curriculum for students. PFS brings renewal and innovation to the public education opportunities for Northern Arizona students and the community. The Waldorf-modeled curriculum that PFS follows uses a child development model that nurtures and embraces learning for the head, heart and hands of each student. PFS helps students develop a life long love of learning by emphasizing a comprehensive education, with the goal of developing creativity, clarity of thought, a steadily increasing intellectual capacity, a balanced emotional life, and a will to work. We foster creativity and imagination through all of our courses of study and seek to instill strength, harmony and responsibility in each of our students. Our curriculum includes two languages, handwork, art, and physical education.
