Cindy began her involvement with Waldorf education in the late 1980s, working as a teacher at a small, diverse private school located in Flagstaff. By the late 1990s, she was teaching at one of Arizona’s pioneering Waldorf Public Charter schools in Sedona. She played a key role in starting a Waldorf initiative, Gateway School, which later transformed into Desert Sky Community School in Cornville. In 2006, she assumed the position of director at Mountain Oak Charter School in Prescott and took on the role of executive director at Pine Forest in the fall of 2018.
For more than 25 years, Cindy has been an engaged member of the Arizona Council for Waldorf Education, currently serving on the core steering group. Waldorf education is a significant part of Cindy’s life story. She is dedicated to supporting the development and sustainability of Waldorf education for the next century.
