Jenny has been an employee at Pine Forest since 2015, starting as an assistant. Upon completing her teaching degree, she then became a full-time teacher. In 2023 she went back to school to earn her Waldorf Certification. Jenny enjoys camping and hiking, mountain biking and river rafting, learning music, and teaching math.
Jenny has had two classes at Pine Forest. She became acquainted with her first class in first grade as an assistant. She became their teacher in second grade and took them all the way to eighth grade, spending seven years together. After graduating her first group, she became the class teacher for a group of fourth graders in 2024 and plans to continue with those students through eighth grade.
Jenny loves Waldorf education for many reasons, but spending so much quality time with students over the years is her favorite part. Watching them grow socially, emotionally, and academically is a truly rewarding experience.
Having a wide range of experience through grades allows her to bring many different perspectives to schoolwide discussions and help with resolutions that benefit the future children and future of the school. Her love of numbers also brings a lively interest in our school’s budget and standard alignments, while her musical, artsy side brings balance and beauty.
